(Hong Kong, January 10 2024) – According to the "Notice on the Announcement of the 2023 Provincial Safety Culture Demonstration Enterprise List") recently issued by the Department of Emergency Management of Hebei Province, Hebei China Coal Risun Energy Limited (“CNC Risun”) and Cangzhou Risun Chemical Limited (“Cangzhou Risun”), two subsidiaries of China Risun Group Limited (“China Risun”, or the “Group”, stock code: 1907.HK), a leading global integrated coke, coking chemicals and refined chemicals producer and supplier and related operation management services provider in China, have been designated as “2023 Hebei Provincial Safety Culture Demonstration Enterprises” and re-audited and approved for renewal of the “Hebei Provincial Safety Culture Demonstration Enterprise” qualification.
The “Safety Culture Demonstration Enterprise” title, awarded by the Department of Emergency Management of Hebei Province, aims to encourage enterprises to bolster safety management, bring innovation to achievements relating to the development of a safety culture, explore new mechanisms and ways of promoting a culture of safety, and more effectively serve as role model for production safety. The winning enterprises are motivated to achieve new results and breakthroughs in establishing safety concepts, which will have a positive influence on their peers and associated enterprises, encouraging them to step up their investments in promoting a culture of safety, improve safety management standards, and make greater contributions to ensuring the continuous improvement of production safety in the province.
Safety, environmental protection and quality are the cornerstones of China Risun. Recently, CNC Risun was approved as a 2023 Provincial Safety Culture Demonstration Company in Hebei Province, and Cangzhou Risun passed the Provincial Safety Culture Demonstration Company in Hebei Province review, adding new glory to Risun’s “Safety Honors Book”. China Risun has established scientific approaches and standardized processes for safety production, safety management, and safety construction. Adhering to the safety concept of “no safety, no production”, the Group has improved its vertical-horizontal safety management network and established a six-tier safety management and control system with strict responsibilities covering the Group, production bases, companies, workshops, shifts and employees. In addition, the Group also attaches great importance to digitalization and the intelligence of innovative safety management, and has invested RMB980 million to complete 79 digitalization projects, so as to realize the use of automatic equipment and automatic control systems to collect production data and monitor the operation of production equipment in real time, resulting in an automatic control rate of 98% and above for all equipment. China Risun also pays attention to employee safety education, and has organized targeted and practical simulation drills and various forms of safety activities to help establish a high level of safety awareness among staff and to equip them with proficient emergency response skills.
With CNC Risun and Cangzhou Risun obtaining the title of Provincial Safety Culture Demonstration Enterprise in Hebei Province, China Risun will take the opportunity to further strengthen and improve the Group’s production safety, safety management and construction safety.
