(Hong Kong, February 2, 2024)–China Risun Group Limited (“China Risun” or the “Group”, stock Code: 1907), a leading global integrated coke, coking chemicals and refined chemicals producer and supplier and relevant operation and management services provider in China, has recently joined the China Railway Beijing Group Co., Ltd hosted “2024 Railway-Key Enterprise Transportation Guarantee Agreement Signing Ceremony” at the Beijing Logistics Center and Shijiazhuang Logistics Center and signed the agreement.
The agreement between China Railway Beijing Group and key transportation enterprises requires the railway to provide capacity as agreed and meet the transportation flow demand of the enterprises, and the latter to provide the transportation volumes as agreed, as such can effectively strengthen management of the contractual relations between the railway and the enterprises, keep bulk cargo transportation volume stable, and realize reciprocated assurance, assistance and benefit between the railway and the enterprises concerned. For Risun Group, the agreement is of significance for it means its transportation demands will be fully met by railway transportation capacity and resources, giving it strong assurance for delivering bulk cargoes like coke, practicing green and low-carbon transportation and lowering transportation costs. Currently, the logistics systems of the Group’s Xingtai, Dingzhou and other production bases use railway to meet steadily more than 80% of their transportation demand, and for in-city short-haul transportation, more new energy vehicles such as hydrogen energy heavy trucks and electric heavy trucks are used, aiding green upgrade of the Group’s logistics systems.
The latest agreement is backed by the long-term cooperation between Risun Group and China Railway Beijing Group. With strong capability to fulfill contracts and good reputation, the two parties have forged a mutually beneficial, efficient, stable and smooth cooperative relationship. Over the years, responding to the “transforming from road haulage to rail-freight transport” call of the country, governments at all levels and the National Railway Administration, Risun Group has stepped up organization of railway transportation, enhanced its information system to hasten loading and unloading, and, through optimizing its operational model, raised in-factory capacities for plant trolley, coal storage, loading and unloading and ultimately the operational efficiency of its factories. Specialized training is also provided to staff to enhance their professional capabilities and dispatch efficiency, and by planning and confirming delivery in advance, strengthening deployment of relevant staff and improving loading and unloading efficiency by adding comprehensive and cutting-edge equipment, including dumpers for railway transportation, the Group can effectively ensure on time and even ahead of time fulfillment of transportation volumes as prescribed in the agreement each year.
